Affordable Funeral Cover

  • R15,000 cash benefit, paid after a six-month waiting period.
  • Cover for up to 16 family members on a single plan.
  • Includes up to 6 children, aged 21 and under.
  • COIDA support for work-related death, disease and injury — for the main member.
  • Free assistance with RAF claims (Road Accident Fund).
  • Coffin is not included in this benefit.

The six-month waiting period applies to natural causes. Cover begins once your first premium is received and your application is accepted. Confirm before launchCheck this wording against your policy documents — particularly the waiting period on accidental death, and whether cover starts on application or on first payment.

If you hold cover with us and a loved one has passed on, this is what happens. Call us first — we will walk you through each step ourselves.

Phone 062 160 0612 or 073 545 7506 at any hour. Tell us the name of the policyholder and the person who has passed on.

Send documents

We will tell you exactly which documents are needed and how to get them to us.

Needed from youList the required documents — e.g. death certificate, BI-1663, ID of the deceased, ID of the claimant, proof of premium payment.

We pay out

Once the claim is approved, the benefit is paid to the nominated beneficiary.

Needed from youState the payout turnaround (e.g. within 48 hours of approved documents) and who the money is paid to.
